The Merit
Badge Program in one of Scouting's Basic Character Development Programs
- This is accomplished
by putting boys in contact with as many different counselors
as possible, with whom they may not be acquainted. Encourage
Scouts to go outside their Troop to find counselors.
- The experience
of calling someone not familiar to them, making an appointment,
and presenting themselves, and showing that person their knowledge
has great life experience. Remember the Scout must always
bring a buddy to each meeting.
